Here's the review I wrote (BTW, I'm an asshole writer and I normally don't give such a high rates as this time, so your album must be something extraordinary!)



Do you like fast, melodic and symphonic metal?
Do you like your metal with FULL OF keyboards?
If the answer is YES, then go ahead and get this great album!

I heard about the band first time couple of months ago, when the singer of the band contacted me in last.fm and recommended to check out the track Who Is the Fool? And how happy I am now for checking it out.

Right after hearing that one track I ordered the album. I was quite busy with all school works so it took closely a month to find an unstressful hour to give an album a listen. Finally I've listened the album through and what a pleasant surprise it was.

Silent Fall aren't your typical Helloween-clone. They have plenty of ideas of their own. They don't fear to throw in some melodic death metal vocals (they are used mostly in backing vocals during choruses) and they can change the rhythm and the atmosphere of the tracks cleverly, yet surprisingly. The music is very technical power metal with absolutely superb keyboards! The band is creative and there's no any fillers to be found from the album. Only a bit weaker tracks are the ballads One Cold Winter Night and This Could Have Been (although also they have some cool moments, like acoustic guitar solo in One Cold Winter Night and female vocals and duet in This Could Have Been)

Silent Fall have all talent needed to become next huge power metal band. They just need to find more fans and grow up their fame. And the singer should try to improve his English pronunciation a little bit.
Anyways, this is a great album, which all power metal fans should hear.

I would like to thank you from composing, recording and publishing this masterpiece! When will we get 2nd album?
